Purchase Head of Motor & Pump (Deputy General Manager)

As the Purchase Head for Motor & Pump (Deputy General Manager) at the Neemrana Location, your role is crucial in overseeing the procurement activities for the product category. Your responsibilities will include: - Develop and implement purchasing policies, strategies, and procedures. - Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure competitive pricing. - Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to establish strong partnerships. Monitor supplier performance for quality, delivery, and compliance. - Ensure cost-efficient procurement while maintaining quality standards. Identify expense reduction opportunities across the supply chain. Negotiate contracts and terms for maximum organizational value. - Collaborate with inventory and logistics teams to maintain optimal stock levels. Address supply chain disruptions effectively. Manage spare parts efficiently. - Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, costs, and performance metrics to senior management. - Lead, train, and mentor the procurement team for high performance. Allocate responsibilities and set KPIs for team members. Qualifications required for this role are: - B Tech Mechanical full time degree. - In-depth knowledge of supply chain management and procurement processes. - Exposure to main categories like CI Casting, Stamping, Machining, Extrusion, Molding, Surface treatment, etc. - Analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Leadership and team management capabilities. - Strong negotiation and communication skills.
