Job Description

As a Procurement Manager at our company, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of various components required for transformers. Your role will involve: - Managing the Supply Chain by aligning with the master planning schedule for product manufacturing - Conducting Inventory analysis and control, as well as cost analysis and control - Ensuring on-time delivery to assembly lines to maintain a lean supply chain and contribute to OWC optimization - Procuring general supplies and equipment of good quality at competitive rates - Monitoring slow-moving/non-moving inventory to prevent excess inventory or stock out situations - Developing vendors for different parts of the Transformers - Identifying root causes of supplier quality issues and implementing corrective and preventive actions - Leading the team to achieve targeted results by tracking action plans for on-time material delivery The company is seeking candidates with a BE in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 20 years of experience in the Transformer, Switchgear, and Electrical Equipment industry. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including Provident Fund. The work location is in person near Vadodara.,
