• Technical skills: Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications.
• Fabrication: Cut, shape, and fit materials using hand and power tools, and perform welding or soldering as required.
• Assembly: Align and connect components using fasteners, and assemble machinery parts according to specifications.
• Quality control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, test functionality, and report any defects or malfunctions.
• Equipment operation: Operate production machinery, and perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations.
• Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, maintain a clean work area, and participate in safety and compliance meetings.
• Production management: Follow production schedules to meet deadlines, manage inventory of materials, and report on production output and downtime.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to optimize workflow and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a fabricator or similar role.
• Proficiency in operating heavy machinery and various tools.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good physical dexterity and color vision.
• Familiarity with relevant safety and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
