Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchase Executive to support our procurement operations. The candidate will be responsible for executing day-to-day purchase activities, coordinating with suppliers, maintaining records, and ensuring the timely procurement of materials. This role is critical in maintaining smooth supply chain operations and supporting cost-effective purchasing.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in executing procurement plans and purchase orders.
• Source, evaluate, and coordinate with suppliers for quotations and material availability.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms within approved guidelines.
• Handle documentation for import and domestic purchases.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and statutory requirements.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier databases, and price comparisons.
• Track orders, follow up with vendors, and ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with accounts and finance for payment processing.
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams for inventory and stock planning.
• Use ERP and MS Office tools for efficient purchase tracking and reporting.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Knowledge of vendor management, procurement processes, and import/export documentation.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement software, and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
• Ability to multitask, work under deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
• Experience in the rubber, petrochemical, or trading industry will be an advantage.
