Purchase Executive

You will be joining the Purchase department at Sporting Syndicate as an Individual in the Purchasing category. Your main responsibilities will include: - Raise Purchase Orders/ Purchase Indents for approvals - Place orders with vendors and follow up till date received - Work on developing new vendors - Compare vendors on the basis of prices and performance - Verify invoices and coordinate with accounts and operations teams - Regularly develop relationships with vendors - Regularly look for ways to reduce costs of materials purchased To excel in this role, you should possess: - Previous experience in Purchase/ Buying - Great communication skills - Good relationship-building and negotiation skills - Ability to work on data analysis and MIS Reports - Previous experience in a manufacturing industry is desired Sporting Syndicate, the largest Sports Goods manufacturers and exporters in India, based in Jalandhar, Punjab, was founded in 1960.
