Purchase Executive/ Procurement Ex. Only From Construction/Infrastructure (MEP & PEB)

Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Source, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers for MEP and PEB materials.
Prepare and process purchase requisitions and orders in accordance with project requirements and company policies.
Conduct price comparisons, commercial evaluations, and negotiations to achieve cost savings.
Collaborate closely with the project, engineering, and site teams to forecast and plan material requirements.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials in alignment with project timelines.
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier performance, and material specifications.
Monitor market trends, identify new suppliers, and evaluate alternative materials or solutions.
Ensure all purchased materials comply with required quality standards and technical specifications.
Coordinate with the accounts and logistics departments for payment processing and delivery schedules.
Adhere to company procurement procedures, ethical standards, and compliance guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in
Engineering, Commerce, or Supply Chain Management
.
3–6 years of experience
in procurement within the
construction or infrastructure sector
.
In-depth knowledge of
MEP and PEB materials
, market rates, and supplier base.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and ERP-based procurement systems.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
