*Follow up on purchase orders and logistics to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
* Maintain accurate supplier documentation and records monthly.* Review supplier performance and suggest improvements where necessary.* Handle material rejections and resolve issues promptly.* Manage scrap materials and ensure proper disposal procedures monthly* Update and review daily purchase planning sheets to ensure material availability.* Fetch and verify purchase indents from SAP to ensure accuracy.* Work closely with the production team for procurement planning and material coordination.* Monitor supplier payments, ensuring timely processing and accurate invoicing.* Optimize purchasing processes to reduce costs and improve inventory management.
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
* 7+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of vendor management, purchase order processes, and supplier negotiations.* Proficiency in SAP and other procurement tools.* Familiarity with inventory management, material planning* Experience in handling rejections, scrap management, and cost reduction strategies.* Ability to coordinate across teams and manage multiple tasks effectively.
