Responsible for managing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems,including Firefighting. Involves ensuring timely procurement to support project and operational requirements.

Job Summary: We are looking for a results-driven Civil Procurement Engineer / Senior Procurement Engineer to handle end-to-end procurement of civil construction materials, services, and subcontractors for infrastructure and real estate projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in civil construction, hands-on experience in vendor development, and a keen eye for cost and quality optimization. Key Responsibilities: Review construction drawings, BOQs, and project specifications to identify material requirements and procurement plans. Source and procure civil materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, sand, concrete, tiles, sanitary ware, waterproofing, and other building materials. Float RFQs, evaluate vendor quotations, negotiate prices, terms, and finalize purchase orders/contracts. Develop and maintain strong vendor networks to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing. Ensure procurement activities align with project schedules and budgets. Collaborate closely with Project Management, Engineering, Planning, and Quality Control teams to ensure material compliance and technical adequacy. Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery timelines, and cost adherence. Ensure documentation accuracy (POs, GRNs, invoices, delivery challans) and support finance for vendor payments. Stay updated with market trends, price movements, and new products in the construction industry. Enforce procurement best practices and ensure adherence to Renaatus Projects' policies and ethical standards. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory). Diploma holders with relevant experience can be considered for Engineer level. Experience: 3–5 years (Engineer) or 6–9 years (Sr. Engineer) of experience in procurement of civil materials for residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects. Knowledge of construction practices, material specifications, and supply chain processes. Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or similar). Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines. Preferred Attributes: Experience working with EPC or civil construction companies. Exposure to government/PPP projects is a plus. Local language for vendor coordination. Willingness to travel to project sites and supplier locations as needed.

Lead end-to-end procurement for MEP components including HVAC, electrical panels, plumbing systems, fire-fighting equipment, etc. Prepare procurement strategies aligned with project timelines, cost targets, and quality requirements. Evaluate technical and commercial aspects of vendor quotations, perform rate analysis, and finalize vendor selections. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure the best commercial advantage. Coordinate closely with project managers, MEP consultants, and site execution teams to ensure material delivery schedules are met. Monitor and manage vendor performance, including quality, delivery, and compliance with contracts. Maintain updated records of material procurement, costings, and supplier databases. Collaborate with finance and legal teams to ensure smooth processing of contracts, POs, and payments. Stay updated with market trends and innovations in MEP products and materials. Implement procurement best practices and cost-saving initiatives. Preferred candidate profile Strong technical understanding of MEP systems and materials In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and vendor management Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills Strong analytical and cost estimation capabilities Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively Prior experience in procurement within the real estate or construction sector is a must Experience working on large-scale residential and commercial projects Familiarity with RERA, local building codes, and compliance procedures is a plus

Role & responsibilities : i. Tender : Receive Tender, Tender analysis, Identification of vendors, Floating BOQ/RFP, preparation og prebid queries, attend the client meetings, preparation of detailed comparison, item wise rate analysis preparation, Proposal preparation & taking approvals, commercial negotiations, Risk assessment, Documents compliances as per RFP, submission of proposals and follow ups. Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software, Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills required. Strong knowledge of MEP systems, drawings, and specifications. ii. Procurement : Post award of tender, Taking final quotes from vendor, vendor negotiations, documents compliances, taking approvals, issuance of PO and materials tracking, vendor mitigation, risk assessments, follow ups, supplier evaluation, vendor rating, etc. Candidate shall have market knowledge, product knowledge with discount structures for all kinds of MEP items. Candidate shall be enabled to engage many new vendors as much as possible and develop the vendor base.
