Purchase Executive

Job Purpose

standardization, cost efficiency, and smooth procurement of packaging materials (PM)

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage procurement of

   raw and packaging materials

   (primary & secondary).
2. Explore and implement

   cost-saving initiatives

   across packaging categories.
3. Lead

   vendor negotiations

   to secure competitive rates and discounts.
4. Ensure integrity of the

   Packaging Material Manual

   and update changes periodically.
5. Conduct

   quarterly rate reviews

   across regions to monitor price variations.
6. Develop cost basis for

   labels, secondary packaging, tapes

   , and apply

   value engineering

   to improve cost control and strengthen negotiations.
7. Engage with vendors to

   develop new sources

   while nurturing strong relationships with existing partners.
8. Drive

   vendor development programs

   for packaging material of assigned products.
9. Streamline and oversee

   SAP processes

   , ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
10. Work closely with

    internal and external stakeholders

    for new initiatives, design changes, or process improvements impacting packaging material.

  CFAs, Transporters, Vendors, Partners

Education & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in

  Supply Chain Management / Engineering / Business Administration

  or related field

• 3–6 years’ experience

  in procurement/supply chain, preferably in

  manufacturing / FMCG / packaging industry

• Hands-on experience in

  packaging material procurement

  and vendor management is highly desirable
