Assist with all aspects of the procurement process, including sourcing, evaluating vendors, and processing purchase orders (POs).
Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms, prices, and delivery schedules. Maintain strong, professional working relationships with vendors.
Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery, and coordinate with the warehouse team to confirm receipt and inspect the condition of goods.
Monitor stock levels of materials and equipment, identify purchasing needs based on project demands, and assist with periodic stock audits.
Maintain and update purchasing records, reports, invoices, and contracts in the internal database/ERP system, ensuring accuracy in all documentation.
Conduct market research to identify pricing trends and cost-saving opportunities. Prepare cost analyses and other purchasing reports for management review.
Resolve issues related to delayed shipments, incorrect orders, or quality discrepancies by liaising with suppliers and internal departments (e.g., finance, quality control).
