Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source suppliers for import/export goods and negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions.
  • Prepare and manage all documentation related to import/export transactions including Purchase Orders, Proforma Invoices, Commercial Invoices, Bill of Lading, Packing Lists, LC (Letter of Credit), and other shipping documents.
  • Ensure adherence to Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, etc.) and regulatory guidelines.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, CHA, and logistics teams to track shipments and ensure timely clearance.
  • Monitor delivery schedules, supplier performance, and inventory levels to maintain optimum stock.
  • Verify and process import/export duty, freight, and clearance charges in coordination with the accounts team.
  • Stay updated with international trade regulations, customs duties, HS codes, and import/export restrictions.
  • Maintain records of all procurement and shipment activities for audits and internal tracking.
  • Work with internal teams (accounts, production, stores) to align procurement with business needs.
