Summary: The Trans-shipment Handling officer is responsible for the end-to-end coordination and execution of trans-shipment cargo movements. This role ensures seamless cargo transfer from feeder vessels to mother vessels (and vice versa) at designated hub ports, maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and strict adherence to shipping schedules. The executive acts as a critical link between overseas offices, port agencies, and liners. Key Responsibilities: Planning & Coordination: Monitor and track feeder and mother vessel schedules to plan and align trans-shipment movements. Create and manage pre-advice lists for cargo arriving for trans-shipment. Liaise with origin and destination ports to confirm booking details and trans-shipment feasibility. Coordinate closely with port agents at the hub port for berthing schedules and cargo handling plans. Documentation & Data Management: Prepare and submit required customs and port documentation for trans- shipment clearance to send to EDI team Maintain impeccable records of all trans-shipment activities in the ERP. Tracking & Monitoring: Proactively track the movement of trans-shipment containers from discharge to load on the connecting vessel and update same on ERP Identify and highlight any potential mis-connections or delays to relevant stakeholders ,EDI team as well as trans-shipment desk in HQ. Update various internal trackers and systems with real-time status of cargo. Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve issues related to mis-connected cargo, documentation discrepancies, or customs holds. Coordinate with concerned parties to find alternative solutions for missed connections. Handle queries from overseas offices, liners, and customers regarding trans-shipment status. Communication: Provide timely and accurate status updates to all internal and external stakeholders. Escalate critical operational issues to trans-shipment desk in HQ promptly. Technical Skills: Proficiency in shipping software and MS Office, Excel, MS Team, Power BI Strong understanding of shipping documentation (BL, SLI, Manifest, etc.) and INCOTERMS. Knowledge of customs procedures related to trans-shipment cargo in India is a plus.

Key Responsibilities - To coordinate between Trader/Sales team and Trade Ops for performance of all the sales contracts - Liaison with buyers team right from the time of sale till end of the performance of the contract - Coordinate with logistics team, trade-ops/documentation team to ensure that a signed contract is issued and then followup for a counter signed contract from the buyer is uploaded in the sysem - Follow-up for issuance of Shipping Instructions and applicable Label markings from buyer and communicate the same to Trade Ops - Obtain loading plan, booking note, stuffing report, draft documents and get approval from buyer at each step - Track shipment ETAs, update buyers and follow-up for payment with buyers - Track deliveries of cargoes, follow-up for Quantity& Quality claims, Debit/Credit notes and liaison with buyers for settlement - Maintain record of shipments and cargo claims - A role to support the Trade/Sales support in all day to day functions - Maintain a cordial relationship with buyers/brokers and all other stake holders

Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree (preferably in Shipping, Logistics, or related discipline). Key Responsibilities: Source suppliers for import/export goods and negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions. Prepare and manage all documentation related to import/export transactions including Purchase Orders, Proforma Invoices, Commercial Invoices, Bill of Lading, Packing Lists, LC (Letter of Credit), and other shipping documents. Ensure adherence to Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, etc.) and regulatory guidelines. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, CHA, and logistics teams to track shipments and ensure timely clearance. Main Accountabilities Follow-up and gather information on shipment to be executed - vessel selection and confirmation from the Business Team Perform vessel screening to ensure compliance as per Bunge Global guidelines Review of reports, Check availability of vessel charter party agreement, vessel certificates and others Gather information on contracts nominated on the vessel to be executed from the Business Team Reconcile trader’s spreadsheet and contracts filed in system for contracts allocated Update vessel nomination details to Sellers and Buyers (counterparties) Ensure Vessel agents are screened okay and onboard in TPRM system of Bunge Compliance team.
