Purchase Executive

As a Procurement Specialist, your role involves planning and executing procurement activities to support garment production. Your key responsibilities include: - Forecasting material requirements based on production plans and sales projections - Developing purchasing strategies aligned with business goals - Identifying key raw materials needed for garment production such as fabrics, trims, threads, and labels - Sourcing and evaluating potential suppliers, both local and international - Establishing strong relationships with reliable vendors to ensure long-term supply - Negotiating best prices to reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality standards - Analyzing market trends to anticipate material price fluctuations - Ensuring procurement activities stay within the allocated budget - Monitoring stock levels of materials and placing orders to avoid overstocking or shortages - Coordinating with the warehouse to track deliveries and manage inventory efficiently - Maintaining accurate records using ERP or inventory management systems - Maintaining purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes for audit and records - Ensuring procurement activities comply with legal and ethical standards - Collaborating with internal teams such as production, merchandising, and design to align material needs - Tracking shipments and ensuring timely delivery to avoid production delays - Identifying potential supply chain risks and developing mitigation plans - Preparing periodic procurement reports and analyzing purchasing data for improvement opportunities Qualifications Required: - Strong negotiation and communication skills - Understanding of textile materials and garment production processes - Vendor relationship management experience - Inventory and supply chain management knowledge - Familiarity with ERP systems, specifically SAP - Analytical and problem-solving abilities In addition to the job responsibilities and qualifications, the company offers health insurance and Provident Fund benefits.
