A Purchase Executive for an interior company is responsible for managing the procurement process for materials, fixtures, furniture, and related services needed for interior design projects.
Sourcing and Negotiation: Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, obtaining quotes, and negotiating favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines. Procurement: Preparing and issuing purchase orders, managing budgets, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to project sites. Vendor Management: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, monitoring their performance, and managing the approved vendor database. Quality Control: Ensuring that purchased materials meet the required quality standards and specifications. Market Research: Staying informed about market trends, new products, and potential cost-saving opportunities. Compliance: Ensuring all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures. Collaboration: Working closely with design and project teams to understand their material needs and specifications. Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with the warehouse for timely delivery of materials.
