Job Description


We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Purchase Associate to join our team in Mysuru, India. As a Purchase Associate, you will play a crucial role in our procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services for our organization.

  • Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, from requisition to order placement and delivery
  • Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data in our procurement systems
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfill their purchasing requirements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to optimize the procurement process
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to prevent stockouts
  • Resolve any issues related to product quality, delivery delays, or discrepancies
  • Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement
  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities (both verbal and written)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles
  • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Professional certification in purchasing or supply management (e.g., CPSM, CPM) preferred
  • Familiarity with local suppliers and market conditions in Mysuru and surrounding areas is a plus
