The Public Relations Manager (Corporate) position based in New Delhi requires an experienced communicator who excels in an environment that values passion, creativity, and curiosity. The ideal candidate should possess strong relationships with journalists in their respective sector/sectors, impeccable grammar skills, a deep understanding of social media channels, and the ability to inspire and lead a team towards achieving results. A passion for client servicing, staff development, and networking is essential for this role, along with a keen interest in taking on a leadership position to support the success of the organization's growing practices. Responsibilities of the role include managing and nurturing senior-level client relationships to ensure alignment among internal and external stakeholders, negotiating and meeting client expectations, and developing and implementing integrated communication plans. The Public Relations Manager will offer strategic counsel to key clients, act as a trusted advisor on client and competitor matters, and educate clients on the value and positioning of the organization relative to other agencies. Additionally, the role involves building awareness and demonstrating capabilities both internally and externally, serving as a project manager for growth initiatives, and staying abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape shifts. Candidates are expected to have a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field, or equivalent knowledge and experience. A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in integrated communications or PR, preferably in an agency setting, is required, along with at least 3 years of experience in corporate image, issues/crisis management, and strategic communications across various audience segments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, is also necessary for this role. The Public Relations Manager will play a pivotal role in providing strategic insights and recommendations to influence business decisions, building and maintaining relationships with colleagues and partners, resolving issues collaboratively, and identifying gaps or inefficiencies in processes to enhance efficiency. Problem-solving skills, the ability to analyze data sets, identify patterns, and recommend actionable steps are key competencies required for this position.
