About the Internship

Join our Neurorehabilitation Centre for a hands-on psychology internship designed to give students real-world exposure to clinical and neuropsychological practices. This program is structured to help you bridge academic knowledge with practical skills in a supportive, professional environment.

What You’ll Learn

• Understand common neurological conditions (Stroke, TBI, Parkinson’s, Dementia) from a psychological lens.
• 
  
• Observe and practice psychological assessments such as MoCA, MMSE, MSE, and Digit Span.
• 
  
• Strengthen skills in

  clinical observation, behavioral charting, and case reporting

• 
  
• Gain exposure to

  cognitive retraining techniques, CBT basics, and motivational interviewing

  .
• 
  
• Learn the role of psychologists in

  multidisciplinary care and family psychoeducation

  .

Key Activities

• Shadow therapy sessions (occupational, speech, physiotherapy, psychology).

• Assist in patient interactions, behavioral observations, and assessment scoring.

• Draft case reports, mock therapy plans, and participate in supervisor reviews.

• Attend family sessions and multidisciplinary team meetings.

• Bachelor’s Students:
