Psychology Counsellor

Key Responsibilities

Counselling & Employee Well-Being

  • Provide one-on-one counselling support to employees on stress, anxiety, work-life balance, and emotional well-being.
  • Conduct group counselling sessions, workshops, and wellness programs.
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow ethical counselling standards.

Psychometric Testing & Assessments

  • Administer, score, and interpret standardized

    psychometric tests

    (personality, aptitude, behavioural, cognitive, and emotional assessments).
  • Develop or customize assessment tools based on organizational needs.
  • Prepare detailed psychological assessment reports and recommendations for HR and leadership.

Behavioural Training & Development

  • Design and deliver behavioural skills training sessions (communication, resilience, conflict management, etc.).
  • Support talent development initiatives using assessment insights.

Employee Engagement & Workplace Mental Health

  • Work with HR and leadership to design mental health and engagement strategies.
  • Identify at-risk employees and develop intervention plans.
  • Promote a culture of psychological safety across the organization.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate records, case notes, and assessment documentation.
  • Ensure ethical standards aligned with APA/India-based clinical guidelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education

  • Ph.D. in Psychology

    (Clinical, Counselling, Organizational, or Applied Psychology is acceptable).
  • Additional certifications in counselling, CBT, psychometric assessments, or therapy are a plus.

Experience

  • 5–8 years of relevant experience

    in counselling or psychological assessment in corporate, educational, or clinical settings.
  • Proven expertise in administering and interpreting

    psychometric tests

    .

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and empathy.
  • Expertise in report writing, assessment documentation, and behavioural insights.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in counselling the Students .
  • Ability to handle sensitive psychological cases with professionalism.
  • Strong facilitation skills for group sessions and workshops.
