PRT Assistant Teacher

As an Assistant Teacher, you will be responsible for supporting lead teachers in classroom instruction to create a positive and productive learning environment. Your key responsibilities will include: - Preparing classroom materials and setting up equipment before lessons. - Assisting the lead teacher in delivering lessons and providing reinforcement in small groups or one-on-one settings. - Monitoring and supporting student behavior to ensure a safe and inclusive classroom. - Supervising students during non-classroom activities such as lunch, recess, and field trips. - Assisting in grading assignments, maintaining records, and tracking attendance. - Providing extra support for students with special needs or learning challenges as directed. - Collaborating with teachers, parents, and colleagues to discuss students' progress.
