The PRT plays a pivotal role in a CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) school, serving as the primary point of contact and guide for students in the early grades (usually Grade 1 to Grade 3). This role focuses on creating a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment while fostering the holistic development of young learners. The PRT manages most of the core subjects to ensure continuity, emotional bonding, and comprehensive support for the child's academic and personal growth.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Teaching and Learning

• Deliver lessons in core subjects like English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, and General Knowledge in an interactive and engaging manner.

• Use innovative and child-centered teaching methodologies to enhance learning experiences.

• Foster foundational literacy and numeracy skills.

• Assess and monitor students' academic progress through formative and summative evaluations.

• Student Development

• Support students' emotional, social, and cognitive development.

• Instill values, ethics, and discipline through activities and role modeling.

• Identify and address individual learning needs, adapting teaching methods to cater to diverse learners.

• Parental Engagement

• Act as the primary liaison between the school and parents, providing updates on the child’s academic progress and overall development.

• Conduct parent-teacher meetings and share constructive feedback for collaborative growth.

• Classroom Management

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture where every child feels valued and encouraged.

• Activity Planning

• Plan and execute co-curricular activities such as storytelling, craft, music, and physical education to promote creativity and physical well-being.

• Coordinate and participate in school events, assemblies, and celebrations.

• Administrative Duties

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and performance.

• Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with CBSE curriculum guidelines.

Requirements Required Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.Ed. or equivalent) in Education or Early Childhood Education.

• Experience

• Minimum 1-3 years of teaching experience, preferably with young learners in a CBSE or similar curriculum.

• Knowledge

• Familiarity with the CBSE curriculum framework and its implementation.

• Awareness of child development principles and teaching methodologies.
