Property Management Accountant

Role Overview: As a US Property Management Accountant at our company, you will be responsible for handling daily accounting functions such as Bank Reconciliation, AP/AR, Journal Entries, and General Ledger management. You will also prepare Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) in accordance with US GAAP. Additionally, you will perform variance analysis, assist with budgets and forecasts, and support cash flow planning. Collaboration with US counterparts and property managers for accurate financial reporting will be a key part of your role. You will use and maintain property management systems like Yardi, AppFolio, or MRI. Key Responsibilities: - Handle daily accounting functions including Bank Reconciliation, AP/AR, Journal Entries, and General Ledger management. - Prepare Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow) following US GAAP standards. - Perform variance analysis, assist with budgets and forecasts, and support cash flow planning. - Ensure compliance with property tax filings, vendor 1099s, and related documentation. - Collaborate with US counterparts and property managers for timely and accurate financial reporting. - Utilize and maintain property management systems like Yardi, AppFolio, or MRI. Qualification Required: - Commerce graduate with 2-5 years of experience in US Property or Real Estate Accounting. - Strong knowledge of US GAAP, AR/AP, reconciliations, and financial reporting. - Experience with property management software is preferred. - Excellent communication and client coordination skills with US-based teams. - Willingness to work US shifts and from the office. - Immediate joiners are preferred.
