Job Description

Prefab Engineering Sales Manager

  • Business Development & Sales:

    Identify and develop new business opportunities, generate leads through cold calling and networking, and close sales deals in the industrial, commercial, and warehousing sectors. This includes engaging with architects, contractors, project developers, and government bodies.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management:

    Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers. Conduct meetings and presentations to introduce prefab solutions, understand client requirements, and provide tailored technical and commercial proposals.
  • Project Coordination:

    Coordinate closely with engineering, production, and project execution teams to ensure smooth project delivery, adherence to quality, timelines, and contract specifications.
  • Market Analysis:

    Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and gather customer feedback to adjust sales strategies and align with marketing and product development efforts.
  • Team Leadership:

    Manage, train, and motivate regional sales teams to ensure high performance and goal attainment, including setting sales targets and managing the sales pipeline.
  • Reporting & Compliance:

    Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    A Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Business, or a related field is typically required, with an MBA or Master's degree often preferred.
  • Experience:

    Significant sales and marketing experience (typically 5-10+ years), specifically within the PEB, steel, construction, or related building materials industries, is essential.
  • Skills:

    • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Technical knowledge of modular construction, prefabricated buildings, and technical drawings (BOQ).
    • Ability to manage complex B2B projects and handle sales at a regional or national level.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales management software.
