Project Sales Engineer for Automation Lighting Projects is a professional responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of smart lighting and automation projects, from initial client engagement and technical sales to project execution and client liaison. Key duties include client communication, system design and integration, technical programming using protocols like DALI and DMX, and ensuring high-quality, energy-efficient solutions for residential, commercial, and corporate clients. Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship Management:Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication. System Design & Integration:Develop and implement automated tools for programming and configuring lighting devices, creating wiring diagrams, and designing integrated systems with IoT devices and various communication protocols. Technical Expertise:Possess a deep understanding of lighting protocols such as DALI, DMX, Zigbee, and Bluetooth Mesh, as well as experience with system integration and troubleshooting. Project Management:Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of automation projects, focusing on innovation, energy efficiency, and user-centric design. Sales & Business Development:Generate new leads, manage customer relationships (often using CRM tools), and present technical solutions to meet client needs. Required Skills & ExperienceAutomation Programming:Significant focus or direct experience in programming automation systems, especially with lighting controls and communication protocols. Technical Knowledge:Understanding of electrical drawings, system integration, and experience with protocols like DALI, DMX, and wireless standards. Soft Skills:Strong communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and technical sales skills. Industry Experience:Experience with lighting systems, automation, and potentially project management certifications.
