Project Sales Engineer - Automation Lighting Projects

As a Project Sales Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing automation projects across residential, commercial, and corporate spaces. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing automated tools for programming, configuring, and commissioning lighting devices such as luminaires, sensors, gateways, and controllers using industry standards and protocols like DALI, DMX, Zigbee, Bluetooth Mesh, and RF. - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for testing lighting products" functionality, performance, reliability, and interoperability, including parameters like dimming curves, color temperature control, light output, flicker, and sensor response. - Diagnosing and resolving complex issues related to lighting protocol communication, device interaction, and automation script failures, providing expert-level support for debugging and root cause analysis. - Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, lighting consultants, and contractors, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication. - Conducting regular client meetings, site visits, and progress reviews to prioritize customer satisfaction through timely project delivery, stringent quality assurance, and proactive communication. - Coordinating with design, technical, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution, strict adherence to schedules, and efficient resolution of operational challenges. - Understanding and accurately interpreting automation system schematics and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) while maintaining comprehensive project documentation. Key Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Automation, or a related field. - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automation programming, specifically focusing on or with direct experience in lighting systems and protocols. - Knowledge of electrical drawings, system integration, and experience in automating tasks involving lighting communication protocols such as DALI-2/D4i, Bluetooth Mesh, and DMX (including Art-Net). - Strong stakeholders management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
