Job/Role Description Experience 12 to 16 Years The Offshore IT Project Manager App Dev will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful delivery of application development and data projects leveraging Microsoft technologies within a distributed team environment. This role requires a strong understanding of software development methodologies, data management practices, and Microsoft s technology stack, as well as the ability to effectively collaborate with teams located in different geographical regions. Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for app development and data-driven projects in a distributed team environment. Lead and manage distributed project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and support across different time zones and cultures. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between team members located in different regions. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks specific to offshore project management and distributed teams. Monitor and track project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards in a distributed environment. Manage project changes and implement effective change control processes within a distributed team context. AZURE, .NET, SQL Server) in distributed project delivery. Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and improve future project performance in a distributed environment. Primary Skills (Must have) Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification. Minimum 3 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on offshore project management and app development data-driven projects. Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) in a distributed team environment. Proven experience working with Microsoft technologies (e.g., Azure, .NET, SQL Server) in a distributed context. Knowledge of data management practices, including data modeling, warehousing, and analysis in a distributed environment. Ability to lead and manage distributed project teams, including developers, data analysts, and quality assurance professionals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across cultures and time zones. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a distributed environment. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Microsoft Azure DevOps, Jira) and collaboration tools for distributed teams (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack). Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a distributed environment.
