Job Description

As a Project Manager at Open Destinations Limited, you will play a crucial role in coordinating project management activities with ODL clients. Your responsibilities will include: - Coordinating project management activities with ODL clients, including regular reporting and client meetings. - Documenting, tracking, and communicating project issues, risks, requirements, and dependencies using ODL methodology and toolkit. - Managing the delivery of professional services to meet client requirements by working closely with Implementation Consultants and Business Analysts. - Collaborating with the Client project management resource to resolve issues and ensure project tasks are completed as per plan. - Ensuring the production and availability of quality manuals and client-specific documentation. - Liaising with ODL technical resources and development teams to deliver client-specific customizations. - Managing the commercial aspects of projects, including staff timesheets, expenses, development estimates, forecasts, and project billing. To excel in this role, you should possess: - 5+ years of experience in software implementation projects, preferably in a travel technology company or tour operating environment. - Proficiency in using project management tools and techniques. - Results-oriented mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate at all levels of an organization. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. - Knowledge of the Travel industry, especially Tour Operations, is desirable. - Familiarity with external interfaces related to the travel industry is advantageous. - Willingness to travel as needed. You should hold a graduate or postgraduate degree in a related field and have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT sector, with at least 5 years in Project Management.
