Project Manager - New Product Development

Role & responsibilities

1. Holds responsibility to meet end to end (inputs from Sales & marketing team up-to start of mass production) project timelines, product cost, project budget and quality based on commitment from all stakeholders.
2. As a Project managers direct responsibility ends once mass production is initiated. He/she will be only supporting project team when required after mass production is initiated.
3. Holds the responsibility to create and execute a Project to fulfil the Business Case agreed upon with the Project sponsor and approved by Project Committee.
4. Define area of responsibility for each individual Core Team member in cooperation with the Core Team and according to the described Activity Overview.
5. Resource Contracting with Line Management supported by the relevant Core Team member.
6. Decide on activity and process scaling based on Business complexity and Technology.
7. Ensures the presence and execution of a committed schedule based on a realistic time frame for the tasks and the resources assigned. Based on this project to be closely tracked to avoid deviations on agreed project metrics
8. Ensure Risk Management (assessment, mitigation plan, tracking and timely communication) is carried out on regular basis
9. Facilitate approval of project documents for each phase
10. Report any issues that impact Project Scope and deliverables such as expected Product quality, Sales volume, Prices, Unit cost, Project costs/investments, positioning on the market, or schedule to the Business Case Owner and the Project Committee.
11. Work level experience in agile or hybrid (Agile/Waterfall) will be an added advantage.
