Project Manager III

The Project Manager of Engineering Operations at RealPages R&D organization plays a crucial role as a strategic leader, change agent, and effective communicator. In this dynamic position, you will lead and support key strategic programs within RealPage and the R&D organization, contributing to positive impact and transformation. Your responsibilities will include leading and assisting projects throughout their lifecycle, from defining requirements to deployment. This involves managing schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans while identifying and mitigating risks. You will be responsible for reporting project status and risks to relevant management channels and escalating issues as needed. As the Project Manager, you will be tasked with collecting and communicating qualitative and quantitative data from various sources, both internal and external to the Engineering organization. This includes data from internal systems, third-party applications, as well as data from Accounting, Finance, HR, and Product teams. You will play a vital role in ensuring clear and consistent communication between Engineering and other departments, helping to identify areas for improvement and define business objectives. In addition, you will focus on fostering global collaboration and unity among teams, overseeing the onboarding of new team members, and facilitating the professional development of existing team members. As a change agent, you will lead by example in driving transformation with urgency, flexibility, and passion. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree, with an MBA preferred, and have at least 6 years of experience in a Project Management role. You should also possess 7+ years of Program Management experience with a working knowledge of SAFe. Experience in leading large-scale agile transformations, managing multi-team, multi-product programs following scaled-Agile approaches, and working with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and XP is essential. Moreover, proficiency in using Azure DevOps for managing multi-team, multi-product programs, project management tools, time tracking tools, and software development processes is required. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for effectively influencing decisions and actions among stakeholders. Additionally, you should have excellent analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to combine attention to detail with innovative problem-solving approaches. If you have experience with Software as a Service products, software development, or software product management, it would be considered a plus. Your role will involve collaborating closely with executive leadership, sharing relevant data to support informed decision-making, and driving positive change within the organization.,
