Project Manager - ETL Migration

Role Overview: As a seasoned Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding large service engagements, involving teams of 35-50 individuals. Your role will require a balance of technical know-how, exceptional leadership abilities, and proven project management skills. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage complex technical projects from initiation to completion - Develop comprehensive project plans, ensuring timely delivery and quality - Coordinate cross-project activities - Lead diverse project teams, including technical developers, business analysts, quality assurance, and other essential stakeholders - Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, ensuring clarity in roles and responsibilities - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and ensure regular communication of project updates and milestones - Manage stakeholder expectations, addressing concerns, and resolving conflicts or issues - Offer technical guidance to ensure project deliverables meet required standards and quality - Collaborate with architects and technical leads to ensure feasible project plans - Identify potential risks and devise contingency plans - Monitor project progress continuously and provide detailed scheduled reports on measurable items such as milestones - Ensure optimal allocation and availability of resources throughout the project - Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring projects remain within scope and on target Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, or MCA - 12 to 15 years of experience in technical project management, specifically in services for enterprise clients - Experience in executing Fixed Price projects, project planning & tracking using tools like Microsoft Project Planner - Familiarity with the architecture, design, and best practices of cloud-based data warehouses on Azure Data Services or AWS Data Service - Proven experience in leading large teams and handling large-scale projects - Strong technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in ETL tools such as Ab Initio, Data Stage, Informatica, and SSIS - Proficiency in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices - Exceptional client-facing and internal communication skills - Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done - Relevant professional certifications such as PMP would be a plus,
