Description
As a Project Manager Digital at Barry Callebaut Digital (BCD), you will play a crucial role in leading the digital revolution in the chocolate industry. You will report directly to the Director of Program Management and Project Excellence and be responsible for managing project planning, conception, implementation, and tracking to ensure timely delivery within budget while meeting desired objectives. Your efforts will contribute significantly to the digital transformation roadmap of the organization. **Main Responsibilities & Scope:** - Manage digital projects with medium complexity (~ CHF <5M budget) including status reporting, budget and milestone tracking, risk management, communication with stakeholders, PMO, etc. - Directly report to the Director of Program Management and Project Excellence, ensuring alignment of projects with the overall digital strategy and contributing to the digital transformation roadmap - Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and relevant stakeholders - Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation - Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the successful execution of projects - Allocate resources effectively to ensure project success, balance team workloads, and manage resource constraints - Manage escalations from program and projects according to defined governance structures - Track project performance, prepare project documentation, and report to senior management on project status, risks, and issues - Identify potential risks and issues, develop risk mitigation plans, and monitor project risks and develop risk response strategies - Implement and oversee the quality assurance process on the project, ensure compliance with BC standards, policies, and best practices - Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs - Develop, implement, and refine project management methodologies, standards, and tools, incorporating project management best practices and industry trends - Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders **Essential Experience & Knowledge:** - A minimum of 8+ years of project management experience in SAP S4 HANA Finance Transformation - Significant experience and deep understanding of digital project and program management including project management methodologies, frameworks, industry trends, and best practices - Good knowledge of project management solutions, e.g., Planview (formerly: Clarizen), Asana, JIRA, Microsoft Project - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work under pressure, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities - The ability to bring people together and mobilize individuals to pursue a joint agenda - Independent and self-driven personality - Skills to create internal and external partnerships/networks across the organization Barry Callebaut is committed to Diversity & Inclusion, fostering an inclusive environment where individuals can grow to their full potential and feel they truly belong.
