Enterprise Architect-Azure Platform

You will be joining Barry Callebaut Digital (BC Digital) as an Enterprise Architect with expertise in Azure Cloud Platform. Your main responsibility will be to shape the digital architecture to meet business needs, focusing on platform services including the cloud environment and on-premise data centers. You will ensure that the systems architecture aligns with business objectives and communicate strategic architecture target pictures and technology roadmaps. Your role will involve providing oversight and guidance on technical aspects of development and integration, ensuring that technical strategies, policies, standards, and security measures are implemented effectively. **Responsibilities:** - Develop the enterprise architecture strategy and target picture for platform services, specifically focusing on the Azure cloud environment and on-premise data centers. - Provide Architectural Leadership by working with a team of technical experts to translate business and IT strategy needs into scalable and secure cloud solutions. - Create and communicate architecture plans and blueprints that align with the organization's business goals. - Continuously assess and improve the performance and cost-efficiency of platforms. - Establish and enforce architectural governance and ensure compliance with regulations and standards. - Support the solution design team in leveraging IT assets effectively. - Collaborate with external partners to ensure alignment with technical requirements. - Develop visual representations of system architecture models. - Oversee platform maintenance and installation activities. - Review architectural designs and proposals. - Analyze industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure state-of-the-art architecture standards. **Qualifications:** - Graduate degree in IT/technology, data, computer science, engineering, or a comparable field. - Proficiency in English. - Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience as a Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, or similar role. - Certifications in MS Azure solution design and architecture desired. - Deep knowledge of digital Azure platforms, including cloud and data center operations, infrastructure management, data architecture, and integration. - In-depth knowledge of Azure services such as Azure VMs, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL PaaS, Azure Active Directory, and others. - Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Automation, and cloud-native application architecture. - Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and solution architecture methodologies.
