Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Azure)

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Barry Callebaut Digital (BCD), you will be a key player in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of large-scale, cloud-based applications and infrastructure. Your role will involve collaborating closely with development teams to design and implement robust infrastructure solutions, automate deployment processes, and maintain high availability across the cloud-based platform. **Responsibilities:** - Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of large-scale, cloud-based applications and infrastructure. - Establish monitoring and observability solutions to address performance bottlenecks, errors, and other issues. - Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines for efficient delivery of software updates with minimal downtime. - Implement strategies for zero downtime deployments. - Resolve incidents promptly to minimize service disruptions. - Create and enforce best practices and standards for deploying and managing applications, databases, and resources. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in Site Reliability Engineering. - Good knowledge of IT infrastructures, cloud operations, and highly available, scalable infrastructure management. - Proficiency in Azure services, Terraform, observability tools, and techniques for monitoring distributed systems. - Experience with zero downtime deployment strategies and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub). - Independent and self-driven personality with strong problem-solving skills and a structured way of working. - Openness to learning and adapting to new technologies and skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with non-technical audiences.
