Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Azure)

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Barry Callebaut Digital (BCD), you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of large-scale, cloud-based applications and infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include: - Ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability of cloud-based applications and infrastructure. - Establishing monitoring and observability solutions to address performance bottlenecks, errors, and other issues. - Developing and maintaining automated deployment pipelines for efficient software updates. - Implementing strategies for zero downtime deployments. - Resolving incidents promptly to minimize service disruptions. - Creating and enforcing best practices and standards for application and database management. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in Site Reliability Engineering. - Good knowledge of IT infrastructures, cloud operations, and scalable infrastructure management. - Proficiency in Azure services, Terraform, and observability tools for monitoring distributed systems. - Experience with zero downtime deployment strategies and DevOps tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, and GitHub. - Independent and self-driven with strong problem-solving skills and a structured approach to work. - Willingness to learn new technologies and skills. - Effective written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
