Project Manager

As a Project Manager at Datacode Geoscience Pvt Ltd, you will play a crucial role in the Mineral Resources Mapping project for the state of Odisha. Your responsibilities will include: - Reviewing legacy data and reports, and conducting a comprehensive gap analysis. - Identifying areas of interest (prospects) and coordinating ground follow-up activities. - Overseeing Aero geophysical Surveys (Mag, EM, Radiometric) to identify prospective blocks from new data. - Leading a team of experienced Geologists, Geophysicists, and GIS experts, with access to a pool of National and International experts for achieving project objectives. - Managing client relationships and team effectively to ensure project success. Qualifications Required: - M.Sc./MSc. (Tech)/ M. Tech in Geology/Applied Geology. Experience Needed: - 12+ years of professional experience in designing, supervising, and managing exploration projects involving minerals like base metals, iron ore, manganese, chromite. - Coordinating with various exploration agencies for historical data integration and interpretation. - Planning and executing on-site exploration activities including geological mapping, drilling, and sampling. - Geostatistical analysis of geological data and preparation of SOPs/work instructions for field exploration activities. Competency: - Proficiency in geological interpretation on a scale of 1:50,000 or more. - Extensive knowledge of exploratory drill hole planning, supervision, and sampling. - Experience in QA/QC of surveying, sampling, assaying, and reporting. - Hands-on experience with geology and resource modeling software like Leapfrog, Surpac, Datamine, etc., and GIS software like ArcGIS, MapInfo.
