Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Program Manager – Geologist to lead and manage mineral exploration programs across our mining sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing geological exploration projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering exploration targets within budget and timelines. Key Responsibilities: Plan, develop, and manage exploration programs for mineral resources in line with company objectives. Oversee geological mapping, sampling, drilling, and other field activities. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including field geologists, drilling contractors, and surveyors. Analyze and interpret geological data using software and GIS tools. Prepare and review geological reports, resource estimations, and technical documentation. Ensure all exploration activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Manage exploration budgets, timelines, and reporting milestones. Liaise with regulatory authorities, consultants, and other stakeholders as required. Mentor and develop junior geologists and field staff. Provide strategic input into long-term exploration planning and resource development. Qualifications & Experience: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Geology / Applied Geology / Earth Sciences. Minimum of 10 years of experience in mineral exploration, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role. Strong understanding of mineral systems, exploration methods, and geostatistics. Hands-on experience in drilling programs (RC, Core), logging, and sampling procedures. Proficiency in geological software (e.g., Surpac, Micromine, ArcGIS) and data management systems. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and permitting processes related to exploration. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Willingness to travel and work in remote field locations.
