Project Manager

You will be working as a Project Manager for the Mineral Resources Mapping (MRM) Project in Odisha. Your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Reviewing legacy data and reports, conducting gap analysis - Identifying Areas of Interest (Prospects) and conducting ground follow-up - Managing Aero geophysical Surveys (Mag, EM, Radiometric) and identifying prospective blocks from new data - Leading a team of experienced Geologists, Geophysicists, and GIS experts - Accessing a pool of National and International experts for achieving project goals - Managing clients and the project team effectively Qualifications required for this role include: - M.Sc./MSc. (Tech)/ M. Tech in Geology/Applied Geology You should have at least 12 years of professional experience in: - Designing, supervising, and managing exploration projects involving minerals like base metals, iron ore, manganese, chromite - Coordinating with various exploration agencies for historical data integration and interpretation - Planning and organizing on-site exploration activities, including drilling and sampling programs - Designing drilling programs and conducting geostatistical analysis - Preparing SOPs/work instructions for field exploration activities Your competency should include: - Geological interpretation on a scale of 1:50,000 or more - Extensive knowledge of exploratory drill hole planning, supervision, and sampling - QA/QC of surveying, sampling, assaying, and reporting - Hands-on experience with geology and resource modeling software such as Leapfrog, Surpac, Datamine, etc., and GIS software like ArcGIS, MapInfo This is a full-time job with benefits including health insurance.
