Description
As a Project Manager at EY in the Service Line Enablement Services Sub-service Line ES Automation, your role is crucial in delivering programs/projects to schedule, budget, and quality. Your responsibilities include: - Successfully executing the project to the agreed schedule, budget, and scope - Performing relevant project management processes such as initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing - Planning the project based on a defined need resulting in a detailed scope/budget/schedule baseline - Monitoring and controlling the work to ensure the project remains on track and in control - Managing change effectively and reporting on variances to the approved project baseline - Closing the project to formalize acceptance of the project result and release project resources - Interface and communicate with project team, management, and stakeholders - Managing project work and resources to enable successful and timely completion of the project - Delivering projects aligned with overall business and technology strategies and architectures - Working within defined governance processes - Managing external contracts and suppliers where required - Supporting the development of business cases with the customer team and leading on solutions estimates - Leading the development of the project charter and scope, ensuring delivery to schedule, budget, and scope - Managing objectives, phasing, and content of the project to deliver on the business case benefits, budget, and timescales - Ensuring quality project standards are met through effective implementation of approved processes and methodologies - Contributing to business readiness plans, including infrastructure/application support models, change management, and communication deliverables Essential Roles and Responsibilities include: - Identifying potential points of contention for missed deliverables and implementing strategies to mitigate shortfalls - Anticipating problems, defining risks, and selecting appropriate solutions - Balancing the science and art of project management - Demonstrating business analytics to meet sponsor and customer needs - Leading project teams, coaching, mentoring, and supporting less experienced project managers - Extensive experience in End-to-End Project Management, preferably in strategy and business - Business Analytics knowledge - Strong team working skills across matrixes client, supplier, and geographically dispersed virtual teams - Strong communication and interpersonal skills EY is dedicated to building a better working world by creating new value for clients, people, society, and the planet.
