Job Description

As a Project Management Officer, your role involves organizing, scheduling, and minuting meetings, arranging workshops, travel, and day-to-day activities. You will be responsible for tracking leave requests, monitoring attendance, and analyzing data to improve the efficiency and productivity of project teams. Your key responsibilities will include: - Reporting and tracking key metrics such as defect and issues lists, work breakdowns, and tasks for follow-up. - Organizing meetings and following up with team members on activities or tasks requiring attention. - Assisting with staff motivation and team morale through initiatives such as incentives and team-building events. - Preparing and planning trips and resulting expense claims for authorization. - Conducting financial reporting and analysis on project budgets, costs, and timesheets as required. - Ensuring timely and accurate presentation of information and reports for customers and management. - Responding to customer requests and proactively following up with communication to customers. - Adhering to the Compliance Policies and Procedures of the Company. - Taking reasonable care of health and safety in the workplace and reporting hazards that may pose risks. In terms of qualifications and experience, we are looking for someone familiar with project management processes and procedures. A relevant tertiary qualification and a recognized project management qualification such as Prince2 Foundation would be advantageous.
