Job Description

The Project Management Office (PMO) is a pivotal role within Johnson electric and will be under our corporate office in Hong Kong. The PMO in general is responsible for the following activities:

1. Managing projects assigned by corporate office.

2. Agility to work across various time zones, engaging with various teams globally in Johnson electric.

3. A critical aspect of this role is the analysis of financial data to identify and address issues impacting regional or site-specific performance.

4. The PMO will collaborate with respective functions to formulate recovery action plans and is tasked with the creation of accessible and insightful visual reports for management updates.

5. A strong emphasis is placed on leveraging AI, including Large Language Models, machine learning, and knowledge of the same will be an added advantage.

6. Work on special projects directed by Senior Management including but not limited to new site setup, new product launch, production lines transfer across countries.

7. Work with manufacturing team on plant shop floor to understand products and operation processes and finding new opportunities to save cost thus assisting in our cost leadership strategy.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in

    industrial engineering

    or

    mechanical engineering

    with of work experience (technical manufacturing role)
  • An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification will give an edge over other candidates but not mandatory for application.
  • Some experience in financial analysis will be positive and add-on advantage.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • Advanced skills in Excel for cost simulation and analysis and a good presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in English is must.

  • Work Location: Chennai, India.
  • Candidate should be willing to work according to different time zones.
  • Candidate should be willing to overtime as per the business needs.
