Project Management Engineering- (Lead Engineer)

Role Overview: You will be the Lead Engineering authority for projects/tenders related to Flexible A.C. Transmission Systems (FACTS) Technology aligned with Power Quality Solutions (PQS) Business. Your key responsibility will be to drive the technical solution for projects of varying complexity in accordance with contract specifications and quality standards. You will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the technical solution for projects/tenders by coordinating with different departments such as System Engineering, Primary/Mechanical Engineering, Secondary/Electrical Engineering, and Control Engineering. - Evaluate risks and opportunities, and devise strategies for mitigating engineering disciplines. - Interact with customers, contractors, and suppliers, and present technical aspects in project/tender meetings. - Collaborate with engineering colleagues within the organization to share best practices and ensure compliance with safety regulations. - Evaluate the overall cost of engineering disciplines and obtain approval from the Business Unit Head. - Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines related to engineering activities. Qualifications Required: - B.E./B. Tech/M. Tech with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in any Engineering Discipline. - Experience with Medium to High Voltage Projects in the Power System Industry. - Knowledge of Power Systems equipment and their purposes, such as Power Transformers, Capacitors, Reactors, Circuit Breakers, etc. - Familiarity with International standards such as IEEE/IEC/GIGRE. - Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with proficiency in spoken and written English. - Dynamic, proactive, and willing to grow within the organization. - Team player with good negotiation and persuasion skills, ready to collaborate across different countries.
