Project Management Engineering- (Lead Engineer)

Main Accountabilities:

Lead Engineering authority for projects/tenders with low to high complexity for Flexible A. C. Transmission Systems (FACTS) Technology aligned with Power Quality Solutions (PQS) Business. Drive the technical solution of small, medium, or large projects/tender with cost effectively and in accordance with contract specifications and quality standards.

Coordinate with Project/Tendering team (i. e. , System Engineering, Primary/Mechanical Engineering, Secondary/Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering), Commissioning, Project managers, SCM, Civil / steel design functions, consultants, end customers etc.

Activities Involved:

• Driving the technical solution in coordination with other departments (i. e. System Engineering, Primary/Mechanical Engineering, Secondary/Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering) and support Tender Manager/ Project Manager for assigned Project/Tender.
• Evaluating risks and opportunities, strategizes mitigation of engineering disciplines.
• Interacting with customers, contractors, suppliers. Attends project/Tender meetings and presents all technical aspects of project/Tender assignments
• Collaborating and networking with engineering colleagues within the organization. Shares best practice across different projects and disciplines
• Evaluating the overall cost of the engineering disciplines and getting approved from Business Unit Head
• Utilizing standard processes, tools, and techniques. Ensuring that engineering activities are complied with required safety regulations and contractual requirements
