Job Description

As a Project Leader Fellow at Bookwallah, you play a crucial role in leading a program that aims to transform the lives of children who have experienced trauma by creating an Empire of Hope. Your responsibilities include: - Lead & Inspire a Volunteer Dream Team: - Recruit, onboard, and guide volunteers who share the vision for change. - Develop skills in delegation, problem-solving, and team motivation. - Demonstrate effective team leadership that will benefit you in future roles. - Design and Deliver Healing Story Sessions: - Organize engaging reading and story sessions that bring joy and confidence to children. - Ensure that each session aligns with Bookwallah's mission of healing through storytelling. - Take ownership as the creative lead and uphold quality standards for your location. - Track Progress & Tell the Story of Impact: - Prepare monthly reports and session plans to showcase achievements and areas for improvement. - Maintain records of attendance and feedback to present a data-driven narrative of change. - Be the Communicator & Connector: - Act as a bridge between Bookwallah HQ, your team, and the local institution. - Facilitate clear and respectful communication among all stakeholders. - Collaborate & Innovate with Fellow Leaders: - Participate in Project Lead meetings to exchange ideas and address obstacles. - Engage with a global community of change agents to enhance your learning. - Contribute your unique perspective and creativity to drive Bookwallah's development. - Stay Engaged & Show Up with Heart: - Demonstrate consistent leadership presence as children observe, learn, and trust in you. - Cultivate a welcoming, positive, and inclusive environment for volunteers and the children under your care.
