Project Leader- Data & Insights (Industries) - Consumer Lab

You will be working as a Project Leader in the CP Consumer Lab team within Data & Insights Industries at Bain Capability Network's Gurgaon office. Your role will involve leading the Consumer Lab team in developing Bain's global IP solutions and insights for the consumer products sector. You will collaborate closely with CP Practice/Case-teams and 3rd party vendors/associate network teams to identify, manage, and drive high-quality insights within the consumer space. Additionally, you will be expected to guide analysts/associates, support ad-hoc data requests, and drive innovation within the team by exploring advanced tools like Tableau and Gen-AI for Consumer insights. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development, maintenance, and upgrading of proprietary Bain IP with a team of 3-4 members, ensuring data accuracy and relevance. - Guide Analysts/Associates on best practices for IP creation, ensuring consistency and quality in data collection and reporting. - Communicate effectively with BCN/end clients and deliver client-ready documents containing implementable solutions. - Mentor analysts/associates in data analysis and other ad-hoc work engagements. - Set strong standards for data accuracy and quality, pressure test insights, and perform sense checks. - Conceptualize research and explore innovative solutions to enhance client engagement for Consumer Lab. - Stay updated with consumer products industry trends and incorporate insights into the creation processes. - Ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs by managing workflows and team efforts. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with business objectives and industry trends. - Lead research and analysis engagements across geographies and industries, collaborating with Bain case teams globally. Qualifications Required: - Graduate preferably with a degree in engineering/science/commerce/business/economics with 5-8 years of relevant experience OR MBA/Post-Graduate with high academic records and 3-5 years of relevant experience. - Proven expertise in leading, guiding, and mentoring a team of 3-5 members, data analysis, and project management. - Strong communication skills for delivering clear presentations to senior stakeholders. - Expertise in building intellectual proprietary-based research reports backed by strong research skills. - Proficiency in Excel modeling, setting high data quality standards, analytical problem-solving skills, and tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Alteryx. - Experience in survey design, coding, deployment, and results creation, including survey analytics. - Curiosity to continuously learn about consumer products space and wider consumer trends.
