Job Description

As a Project Manager in the Real Estate industry, your role will involve managing all aspects of project management for individual real estate projects, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, quality control, and risk assessment. You will be responsible for overseeing the project from planning and design to construction, occupancy, and closeout. Your duties will include: - Reading, understanding, and applying various documents related to real estate projects such as agreements, contracts, leases, work letters, project charters, surveys, and drawings. - Directly engaging with clients to determine project requirements, preparing scope of work, resource requirements, cost estimates, work plans, quality control measures, and risk assessments. - Identifying project resources through pre-qualified lists or qualification processes, conducting request for proposals, analyzing bids, and recommending resources to clients. - Leading project teams to provide guidance and direction, ensuring project goals are met. - Establishing communication plans, conducting project meetings, and maintaining project documentation in compliance with company and client requirements. - Monitoring project progress, reporting on status and variances, and creating action plans to meet objectives, budgets, and timelines. - Managing change requests, assessing impacts on scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk, and implementing change orders. - Identifying project risks, developing mitigation and contingency plans, and taking action to reduce or eliminate risks. Additionally, you should meet the following qualifications: - Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in project management within the construction industry. - Proficiency in comprehending, analyzing, and interpreting various business documents. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively to both internal departments and large groups. - Basic knowledge of financial terms and principles, including the ability to calculate percentages. - Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and project databases. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond to inquiries and complaints from clients, coworkers, and management. - Ability to follow general instructions and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines, with potential short-term impact of errors in judgment on coworkers and supervisors.,
