Job Description

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management & Execution

    • Lead and supervise end-to-end project execution for multiple sites, ensuring timely delivery, quality control, and adherence to project schedules and budgets.
    • Independently manage complex, high-value projects (500+ crores), including planning, resource allocation, contract management, and on-site execution.
    • Implement best practices for construction, safety standards, and regulatory compliance; proactively mitigate project risks and resolve technical/contractual issues.
    • Oversee all civil construction and associated activities, tracking progress and coordinating with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Financial Control & Reporting

    • Manage project budgets (monthly execution of 10–20 crores), approve expenditures, and ensure cost optimization without compromising quality.
    • Prepare and submit periodic progress reports and forecasts to senior leadership regarding project milestones, financials, and resource utilization.
    • Ensure contractual and billing compliance with clients and vendors.
  • Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

    • Lead multi-disciplinary site and project management teams: mentor, develop, and appraise staff performance to foster a high-performing culture.
    • Liaise with clients, consultants, senior management, government authorities, and all internal/external stakeholders.
    • Encourage transparent communication and cultivate a safety- and quality-first culture on all project sites.
  • Process & Quality Control

    • Ensure all construction processes, quality checks, and operational benchmarks are implemented and exceeded according to organizational and statutory standards.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline).
  • Experience:

    Minimum 15–18 years in construction management, with proven experience in monthly project execution of 10–20 crores and successful independent management of projects worth 500+ crores.
  • Technical Skills:

    Deep understanding of construction management processes, contracts (EPC, PMC, etc.), project management tools (like MS Project, Primavera), quality standards, and value engineering.
  • Leadership Attributes:

    Strong decision-making, team management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills; highly results-oriented.
  • Other Skills:

    Excellent interpersonal, communications, and stakeholder management capabilities; proficiency in regulatory and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) requirements.
