Job Title: Project Engineer - Solar Plant Installation

Location: Edappal, Kerala

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our solar plant installation team in Edappal. The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of solar plant installations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets for solar plant installations.
• Site Assessment: Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine the feasibility of solar installations and prepare technical reports.
• Design and Engineering: Work with the design team to develop system layouts, electrical diagrams, and other technical specifications for solar installations.
• Project Management: Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of projects, from initiation to completion.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor the installation process to ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any technical issues that arise during the installation process.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, change orders, and as-built drawings.
• Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the project execution phase, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
• Testing and Commissioning: Oversee the testing and commissioning of solar plants to ensure they meet performance criteria.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. - B.Tech Course Completed Male candidates shall be considered .
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in the solar energy or renewable energy sector.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and related technologies.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Driving License is mandatory

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Solar Industry: Prior experience in the solar energy sector with a track record of successful project delivery.
