Role Summary
The Project Engineer / Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing end-to-end industrial equipment projects involving FRP/thermoplastic tanks, solvent extraction systems, and other chemical processing units. This includes handling client communication, technical documentation, procurement coordination, quality assurance, and site execution ensuring delivery within timeline, cost, and quality targets.
Key Responsibilities Technical & Engineering
Interpret client requirements, P&IDs, GA drawings, and specifications.
Coordinate with design teams for fabrication drawings, BOMs, and calculations (e.g., for ASME, BS, IS standards).
Oversee fabrication, testing, and quality checks of FRP tanks, mixer settlers, extractors, etc.
Handle engineering documentation (data sheets, QAPs, ITPs, as-built drawings, etc.).
Project Planning & Execution
Prepare project execution schedules, material flow charts, and milestone plans.
Track progress using tools like MS Project or Excel.
Manage scope, budget, and timelines through all project phases.
Supervise site erection, installation, hydro-testing, and commissioning (if required).
Client Coordination
Act as a single point of contact (SPOC) for client communications and approvals.
Attend client meetings (kick-offs, FAT, SAT, site visits) and submit progress reports.
Resolve technical or commercial issues in coordination with internal departments.
