Job Title Project Engineer II – IoT/Drone Engineer Location Kollam, Kerala Required Number 1 Qualification B.Tech in CSE, ECE, IoT, Mechatronics, or related fields. Basic understanding of IoT communication protocols (MQTT, HTTPS, CoAP, WebSockets). Familiarity with cloud platforms, edge computing, and RESTful API development is desirable. Exposure to UAV systems, telemetry data handling, and sensor integration preferred. Job Description Develop and implement MQTT, HTTPS, and WebSocket-based communication APIs for UAV telemetry and mission data exchange. Assist in integrating UAV platforms with cloud and edge computing environments through SDKs and APIs. Support IoT-based sensor integration, including IMU, GPS, and mission payloads, and ensure reliable data acquisition and transmission. Contribute to the design and development of UTM (Unmanned Traffic Management) and 5G-based airspace coordination modules. Collaborate with software, embedded, and cloud teams to ensure end-to-end data flow and interoperability across UAV components. Participate in building operator APIs, mission dashboards, and control interfaces for UAV systems. Perform basic testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for telemetry and sensor data pipelines. Document API specifications, integration workflows, and communication interfaces.
