Project Engineer

As an ELV Project Engineer, your role involves planning, designing, and overseeing the implementation of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems in construction projects. This includes structured cabling, security systems, fire alarms, CCTV, access control, BMS, audiovisual systems, and other low-voltage infrastructure. You will be responsible for reviewing project specifications, developing technical designs, supervising installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems, managing project timelines and budgets, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements, and conducting testing and commissioning activities. Additionally, you will handle project documentation, quality control, risk assessments, and provide support to end-users and maintenance teams. Your key responsibilities will include: - Project Planning & Design: Review project specifications, develop technical designs, ensure compliance with regulations and client requirements. - Installation & Supervision: Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning, conduct site inspections, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, troubleshoot technical issues. - Project Management: Monitor project progress, manage documentation, ensure quality assurance, conduct risk assessments. - Testing & Commissioning: Supervise system testing and integration, ensure proper functionality before handover, provide training to end-users and maintenance teams. In terms of qualifications and skills, you should possess: - Education & Certifications: Diploma/Bachelors in Electronics, Telecommunications, IT, or related field. - Experience: 2+ years in ELV systems.
