The Role & Responsibility

The Project Engineer ICT & ELV would be responsible for: • Project planning, tracking, monitoring, documenting • Material or resource managing & approving • Identifying & accessing all the risks including cost & timing after award of the project • Conducting value engineering studies and exercises to ensure cost savings • Verifying & confirming BOQ, Prelims & other expenses in advance to avoid unwarranted / unaccounted costs • Preparing RFQ for issuing subcontracts and recommending the 'best fit' sub-contractor for the lowest cost • Reducing internal manpower costs by managing resources appropriately. • Submitting weekly reports on all projects to the management by showing escalations where required along with project based cost savings • Delivering schedule to be provided to the commercial team at the beginning of each project.

Meet with the Master project manager to agree on mobilization and coordination activities: weekly meetings, on-site offices, storage area, communication personal protective equipment • Allocate technicians and sites to the assigned supervisors • Collaborate with the procurement department to ensure timely availability of necessary material • Assist in the development of project schedules and manpower requirements and ensure execution as per the schedule • Prepare methods statements, submit them to clients approval and ensure adherence to the approved statements throughout the project • Perform project engineering duties on small to medium sized projects including ELV coordination • Attend weekly meetings with the client project team and prepare weekly progress reports • Recognize critical design issues and resolve them on time by making necessary design changes and obtaining required approvals • Request from estimation engineer, new pricing for approved changes • Report on issues that might affect the work progress as per the preset schedule, and when needed review schedules and priorities for optimization of time and resources • Request inspections for testing and commissioning, and prepare catalogues and O&M upon obtaining the client approval. • Managing Service Team/Outsourced Team for Project Execution. • Regular Site Visit.

Qualification Requirements

• A degree/Diploma in Electronics/ Telecom or a related discipline • Certifications in PMP, SCS (Copper & Fiber), CCTV, Access Control System, Intrusion Detection (ELV Systems), Data Networking, Fire Alarm System, PA-Sound System. Planning, Execution, and technical assistance for an entire P • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant industry experience, of which at least 2 years are in a Project Management role wherein he/she has independently handled complete projects. • Proven hands-on practical knowledge of all SCS (copper & fiber), Voice, Data, WiFi, CCTV, ACS, Intrusion Detection solutions. • Must have excellent knowledge of Visio, MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel • Willing to Travel within Pune and outside Pune As Well. • English (Fluent in both Spoken and Written)

Experience: • Project planning: 3 years (Preferred) Language: • English (Required) License/Certification: • Driving Licence (Required) Willingness to travel: • 50% (Preferred)
